Downtown Growers’ Market in #Albuquerque is underway! We’re here until noon.

I can’t remember where I talked about this last week but I am troubleshooting my #lasercutter, which went down before San Jose Oddities and now I have a flashlight strapped to the lid to trick the camera into letting me make stuff again. Technology is basically magic 😂

Before the show doors open my stomach always flip-flops and my brain can only imagine that everyone who stops by my booth will throw a pie in my face. WHERE DID THE PIES EVEN COME FROM

I’m all set for #Oddities&CuriositiesExpo in San Jose all weekend! Here’s the debut of our new logo that I finally finished. Proud to show this one off!

Banner graphic and the top text (in a retro Stephen King style font) is blue and says “Art Prints - Paintings - Apparel - Stickers - Cat Toys”. Centered in the middle in a large, hand lettered font in bright green it says “LABCREATURE”. Below that in blue text it says “Cats, Cryptids & UFOs”. I came up with a very good idea but I can’t share it yet and it’s probably been done before but I’m excited that my brain still has ideas that feel original

My laser cutter broke down right in the middle of a huge push before I drive to San Jose, CA this week for Oddities & Curiosities Expo. Good times, good specially since I’m always super creative before a big deadline! Maybe I should change that 😂

I’ve been fixated on designing/hand-lettering my new logo for so long (6-8 weeks) that any more work is gonna mess it up. And so it is done …

… other than creating a few color options 😅
